Emil Otto, the German specialist for fluxes and cleaning agents for electronics production, presents the new Etimol SW 22 CN stencil cleaner for the automated cleaning of SMT stencils. The cleaner is not hazardous due to the use of special solvents, which simplifies transport and storage.
Etimol SW 22 CN stencil cleaner is a neutral electronics cleaner concentrate. The cleaner has been formulated on a solvent basis with special organic additives. This solvent-water-based formulation was developed in particular to ensure a high level of work safety and cleaning efficiency. Therefore, It is possible to avoid using cleaning agents containing flammable and hazardous solvents in the production area.
“Etimol SW 22 CN effectively cleans and removes flux and paste residues and general contamination that occurs during the soldering process. The solvent formulation also achieves good drying properties,” explains Markus Geßner, Marketing and Sales Manager at Emil Otto GmbH. The electronics cleaner consists exclusively of high-purity substances that are suitable for use in electronics production.
The ready-to-use cleaner is produced from the cleaning concentrate Etimol SW 22 CN by dilution with DI water. The water-based, pH-neutral cleaning medium is formulated for the efficient removal of lead-containing, lead-free, NO-CLEAN solder pastes and SMT adhesives on SMT stencils in automatic cleaning systems. The mixture is characterized by excellent dissolving properties. It ensures stable and high-quality cleaning results and has excellent rinsing properties with itself and DI water.
