The Hanwha DECAN F2 is a Pick and Place Machine that has 10 spindles and 2 gantries delivering a speed of 80,000 CPH. It has a fly camera that can detect components as small as 16 mm (size 0402) and a fixed camera (optional) with a measurement field-of-view (MFOV) of 42 mm. This system has a feeder capacity of up to 120 items (8 mm standard) and can accommodate PCBs of sizes ranging from 50 x 40 mm to 500 x 460 (single lane) or 510 x 250 (dual lane) with a PCB thickness of 0.38 -4.2 mm. It has a 3D lighting system for enhanced recognition of odd-shaped components and can also recognize the polarity mark at the bottom surface of a component. This system has a placement accuracy of ±40 μm (at Cpk ≥ 1.0) for chip components (0402 chip) and ±30 μm (at Cpk ≥ 1.0) for ICs. It requires an AC supply of 200, 208, 220, 240, 380, or 415 V and consumes less than 5 kW of power. This system has a footprint of 430 x 740 x 485 mm.
