4080

The 4080 from SPEA is an In-Line Flying Probe Tester. It is a dual-sided testing equipment and can accommodate a maximum board size of 1000 x 460 mm. This tester features 8x flying heads (4x top and 4x bottom) that ensure effective probing of the top and bottom faces of electronic boards and devices. The flying heads feature ultra-high-speed linear motors that provide the highest probing speed (up to 180 touches/s), superior mechanical stability, and no deformation during use to ensure maximum probe accuracy. It ensures test pads and component solder joints are safe from marks and scratches caused by the flying probes. SPEA’s unique Soft-Touch and Ultra-Soft Touch Technologies use near-zero energy probing to ensure safe and mark-free touch on the most delicate surfaces and substrates, such as wafers, flex circuits, and micro-SMT devices. 

The 4080 delivers high productivity by enabling micro-pad probing (30μm) and SMT components (008004 and 01005) at maximum speed. It is capable of multi-domain testing including ICT tests, short circuits tests, optical tests, flashing, digital tests, and thermal tests. Additionally, signal integrity and accurate measurements are ensured via measuring and forcing instrumentation on each flying head. It is available in an enclosure that measures 1463 x 2715 x 997 mm.
