PowerSpector JSAz+ 350

The PowerSpector JSAz+ 350 from MEK Americas is an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) System designed for SMT and THT components and solder joints. It can accommodate PCBs measuring up to 350 x 250 mm. This system has a 5-megapixel camera with a field of view (FOV) of 36 x 30 mm that produces images with resolutions of 15 μm. It has an inspection speed of 0.6 seconds per FoV and supports inspection of component size down to 01005 inches  (0.4 x 0.2 mm). This system uses Line Sourced DOAL (Direct On Axis Lighting) coaxial lighting to inspect solder joints without shadow effects from tall components nearby. It has 8x angular cameras for automatic inspection, defect classification and repair post-inspection. The AOI machine has coaxial and omnidirectional lighting from different angles and with different colors to make solder defects visible. 

The PowerSpector JSAz+ 350 system supports camera movement in the X direction and PCB movement in the Y direction. It uses a Windows 7/8/10/11 operating system and can analyze defects like coplanarity, height, presence of solder, polarity, soldering, shape, and offset. An easy movement of the camera is maintained with a top and bottom clearance of 60 mm and 70 mm respectively. This AOI system requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes 150 W of power. It is available in an enclosure that measures 485 x 736 x 874 mm.
