American Standard Circuits Receives IATF-16949 Automotive Quality Certification

American Standard Circuits, a leading provider of total PCB solutions, has now received certification for automotive manufacturing according to the IATF-16949:2016 International Automotive Quality Management System (QMS). The certification is acknowledged as the industry’s highest standard of system and process quality for automotive suppliers.

According to ASC President and CEO, Anaya Vardya commented, earning the IATF 16949 certification puts the company much closer to becoming the most versatile independent PCB fabricator in the country, something they have been working towards since the past three years. This certification strengthens ASC’s existing QMS for current certifications of AS9100D, ISO9001:2015 and other various MIL certifications.

IATF-16949:2016 is the global technical specification and quality management standard for the automotive industry based on ISO 9001:2015. It is designed to be used in conjunction with ISO 9001:2015, and contains supplemental requirements specific to the automotive industry rather than being a stand-alone QMS.
