PCB West 2018, a premier event of the PCB industry, scheduled to be held from September 11-13, will be hosting more than 100 companies this year. The exhibitor list includes more than 15 providers of CAD and CAM software, 40 companies offering bare board fabrication, 27 offering PCB assembly, and a host of other suppliers of various materials and equipment for fabrication and assembly.
Now in its 27th year, the event will also feature two full tracks worth of free presentations, with topics ranging from signal integrity to 3D printing and common design errors. A third track, the new CAD Tool Corner, will cover the design gamut, from component libraries to simulation and collaboration within the ECAD-MCAD software flow. Registration for the Expo show badge includes access to the 15 free forums, the keynote address, free lunch on the exhibition floor, the exhibit hall evening reception, plus the new CAD Tool Corner presentations.
Rick Hartley, the most popular speaker in the history of PCB West, will kick off “Free Wednesday” with a talk on routing and termination for control of signal integrity. Other speakers are from Intel, AsteelFlash, TTM Technologies, Nano Dimension, Creation Technologies and other leading companies.
In all, the three tracks will include 15 free presentations. Among others, topics include:
PCB West, the largest conference and exhibition for printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly in the Silicon Valley, will offer 65 presentations as a part of its three-day paid conference program. This year’s event includes 14 full- and half-day tutorials and workshops, and a total of 37 presentations of two hours or more, addressing attendees’ request for longer sessions.
