For 40 years, ThermOmegaTech® has been a leader in designing and manufacturing thermostatic temperature control valves and actuators. Our thermal actuator technology is used in many industries, including commercial plumbing, aerospace, defense, railroad, and industrial applications where temperature control is critical.

In 2018, ThermOmegaTech® expanded into the Electronics Contract Manufacturing market by acquiring a local PCB contract manufacturer, IMET Electronics Corporation. Then in 2019, they acquired a second manufacturer, TJM Electronics, and have now merged both brands into ThermOmegaTech®.

Over the past four years, ThermOmegaTech® has invested a lot of resources into our Electronics Division to learn about the industry and our customers from the 30+ years of experience our employees have had. We moved all employees and equipment into our manufacturing facility in Warminster, PA, so all company divisions operate from the same location, which has helped us stream...show more

Industries

When a PCB assembly requires rework, it generally involves repairing or refinishing the PCB assembly, which typically includes de-soldering and resoldering surface mount components to rectify defects. Such defects can occur due to improper assembly or faulty thermal cycling processes.

ThermOmegaTech possesses extensive expertise in component inventory management, surface mount assembly, and process control, making them specialists in PCB assembly rework and repair. The company guarantees correctly assembled components and proper soldering. Given that PCBs often contain a large number of components placed millimeters apart, delicate handling is crucial when repairing specific components. Not all components may require rework, so those that are not being worked on must be protected from heat and other potential damage.

The assemblers at ThermOmegaTech are highly trained and experienced in the precise handling and placement of PCB components and solder joints. To avoid unnecessary contraction of the PCB, they ensure that the electronic assembly experiences minimal thermal stress.
