The TR7600F2D Plus from Test Research, Inc. is an Automated X-ray Inspection System. It has a flat-panel detector and a 60-130 kV x-ray source. This system has an imaging resolution of 5-30 μm and performs 2D, 2.5D, and Planar CT (optional) inspections. It can accommodate PCBs of up to 800 x 520 mm in size and 0.5-7 mm in thickness. This system has a high-precision ballscrew and AC-servo controller for motion table & control across the X, Y, and Z axes. It can detect missing, misalignment, tombstone, billboard, tantalum polarity, rotation, insufficient/excess solder, bridging, open, solder ball, and void defects.
The TR7600F2D Plus is flexible as it supports multiple resolutions and multiple powers in one configuration. It has a new motion controller for real-time measurements & ease of maintenance and an improved 2D Camera for easier adjustments & less calibration. This system can reliably detect defects in BGAs, Capacitors, Chips, WLCSP, DIMM Connectors, Flip-Chips, Ground Pads, Gullwing, Heat sinks, J-Leads, LED Chips, LGAs, Paladin Connector, Resistor, RNET, SiP, SMT Connectors, SOIC, SOT, Thermal Pad, QFNs, QFP and THTs. It is Smart Factory ready and supports MES connectivity. This system is ideal for inspection applications in the consumer electronics industry, such as mobile electronics manufacturing.
