LS60V

The LS60V from DDM Novastar is an Automated Pick-and-Place Machine that has a placement rate of up to 4800 cph. It can place components ranging from sizes 0201s to 2 inches (50 mm) square body and has a fine pitch capability of 15 mil (0.381mm). This machine has a resolution of 2 μm with a placement accuracy of up to ±0.001 inches. It supports 8, 12, 16, 24, 32 & 44 mm (electrical) tape feeders, 8, 10, 14, 18, 24 & 32 mm tube feeders (bulk also), 12 & 8 mm lane bank feeders for taped components and matrix tray feeders with board/matrix tray holders. 

The LS60V uses a Cognex® vision system with 2 standard cameras (top and bottom) that provide a resolution of up to 10 μm and up to 4 illuminators with digital light control. It enables on-the-fly component centering and accurate placement of 0201s, ultra micro BGAs, CSPs, QFPs and a wide range of SMT components. This machine also supports fiducial correction and bad board marks & pattern recognition. It requires an AC supply of 120 V and has a footprint of 1016 x 1321 x 1346.2 mm.
