The EP-42 Auto from Scientech Technologies is a PCB Prototyping Instrument that enables replicating software designs on PCB with high precision and accuracy. It has a spindle speed from 5,000 to 42,000 rpm along with a tool holder of size 1/8" Socket. The drilling speed of the designing tool is 120 stroke/min, and the drill can create a hole size of from 0.2 to 3.175 mm in the board. The tool can travel over the working area at a speed of 60 mm/sec, while the machine has a structuring speed of 30 mm/sec. It provides a total working area of 320 x 230 x 50 mm and has a resolution of 0.5 mm.
The EP-42 Auto offers a range of equipment suitable for various stages of the prototyping process, covering design verification, structuring, and board assembly. It facilitates the creation of functional boards through processes such as drilling, milling, engraving, and routing, including track and trace functionality. This machine has an Auto Tool Change feature that allows for the automatic change of up to 12 tools during production, reducing setup times and enabling unattended production. The software-controlled spindle speed is applicable to 4 mil track and trace. The PCAM Software is compatible with various Windows systems and accepts standard Gerber files exported from Layout Software. It includes tools for engraving, copper removal, hole drilling, and PCB outline cutting.
This PCB prototyping instrument is available in an enclosure that measures 1220 x 711 x 1981 mm. The motor fitted in the machine operates via a Stepping Motor, that uses an AC power supply of 110-220 V to run the whole equipment.
