The BI2000 from PVA Global is a PCB Flipper and Inverter that can accommodate Printed Circuit Board sizes from 50 mm to 500 mm. The conveyor direction moves from both left to right, and right to left, allowing ease of operation, while the conveyor height ranges from 890 to 965 mm. This system can accommodate a maximum pallet weight of 10 lbs and operates within a versatile conveyor speed range of 0.15 m/min to 24 m/min. It has the component clearance set at 100 mm (4 in) top and bottom, with an additional 4.75 mm (0.187 in) allowance for edge carrying (SMEMA).
Operating within a PVA production line setup, the BI2000 facilitates the exposure of the underside of assemblies for processing purposes. Following inversion, the assembly can proceed to the subsequent module or return to the original workstation, offering bi-directional functionality. Notable features of this machine encompass an edge chain conveyor equipped with adjustable tension guides, the ability for bi-directional conveyor travel, a pneumatic inverting mechanism and four-inch top and bottom side component clearance. It also includes SMEMA communications interface, Unitronics PLC/HMI integration, an OIT touch screen interface, standard hand crank conveyor adjusts, and the option for automatic conveyor adjust. Additional enhancements include the availability of inlet and exit shutters to further tailor the module's performance to specific operational needs.
The BI2000 serves as a space-efficient inverting module designed for integration with printed circuit boards and pallets within an inline manufacturing process. It is available in an enclosure that measures 965 x 1059 x 1828 mm, and requires an AC supply of 100V - 240V, 50/60Hz. Notably, the system holds a CE certification, underscoring its compliance with safety and quality standards.
