CMI95M ®

The CMI95M from Hitachi High-Tech Analytical Science is a Copper Coating Thickness Gauge that can measure foil or laminate thickness on PCBs from 50 to 140 μm (1/8 to 4 oz/ft2). It uses field-proven microresistance technology to measure the thickness in under 1 second and helps sort copper foil & laminates by thickness. This gauge has a soft-touch probe to prevent the copper surface from being marred or scratched and is factory-calibrated to eliminate the requirement of standards. It is available in a handheld package that measures 66 x 104 x 32 mm and operates on a 9 V battery. This gauge is ideal for inspection and quality assurance applications during board fabrication.
