Zenith-M

The Zenith-M from Koh Young Technology is a 3D AOI Equipment that uses 3D Shadow Free Moiré Technology. It has a 4-megapixel high-speed camera with a field of view (FOV) of 47 mm x 35 mm. This AOI equipment has a resolution of 20 µm and an inspection speed of 25 cm²/sec. It can accommodate PCB sizes of up to 690 mm x 610 mm and PCB thicknesses from 0.4 to 5 mm. This AOI uses 8-way projection technology to overcome issues like shadows and specular reflections, ensuring accurate inspection.   

The Zenith-M can detect defects such as missing, offset, polarity, upside down, OCV, co-planarity, solder filet, lifted lead, billboarding, tombstone, bridging, solder ball, flipped, skewed, lifted, overhang, shorts, opens, component dimensioning, markings. It uses IPC-A-610 as a measurement benchmark and compares images taken (using the 4-MP camera) to the CAD data, thus eliminating the use of a golden board and any need for an operator's visual comparison. This AOI equipment requires an AC supply of 200–240 VAC and has a footprint of 1300 mm x 1580 mm x 1684 mm.
