QX250i

The QX250i from CyberOptics Corporation is a 2D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Machine that supports PCB sizes from 50 x 50 mm to 400 x 308 mm. It has an 80-megapixel sensor on each SIM module and has a resolution of 12 µm with a scanning speed of 110 cm2/sec. The SIM (Strobed Inspection Module) is the core engine of the system which enables‘on-the-fly’ high performance inspection. The SIM is absolutely calibration-free and illuminates only when needed which reduces cost of ownership and power consumption.

The QX250i uses CyberOptics’ AI2 (Autonomous Image Interpretation) technology that is designed for both low volume high mix, and high-volume low mix applications. It also includes CyberReportTM which offers full-fledged machine-level to factory-level SPC capability with powerful historical analysis and reporting tools delivering complete traceability for process verification and yield improvement. This AOI machine has SMEMA, RS232 and Ethernet interfaces.
