Due to the pandemic and its effects, the EMV 2021 trade fair and parallel workshops are set to take place digitally. The event is designed to once again give the EMC community a platform for exchange. The event period has also been extended to encompass the entire week from 22 to 26 March 2021. This addition will allow those interested in the specialist workshops more diverse combination options. Exhibitors and attendees will thus be allowed more flexibility in their schedule planning so that they can integrate the digital EMV into their everyday business lives.
As with the on-site event, the focus of the digital EMV 2021 will be on a practice-oriented exchange of knowledge and networking. Participants can use the chat and video call function, as well as discussion features and product presentations, to exchange information in a targeted manner. The matchmaking feature, based on areas of interests, offerings, and many other aspects, supports the community in quickly finding the right partner. “For the international EMC community in industry and science, this opens up new opportunities for efficient and sustainable networking,” Petra Haarburger emphasizes.
The hands-on, interactive nature of the workshops, taking place in real time, is set to continue in the digital format: attendees will be invited to pose individual questions and discuss their application in everyday work with experts in the field of EMC. Renowned speakers from industry and science will give English or German presentations on the following EMC topics:
The workshop program offers lectures on EMC basics with focus on electromagnetic field testing, as well as sessions on specialized topics such as EMC of switched-mode power supplies or EMI problems with grounds and grounding.
Registration for the workshops is now open for EMV 2021. Discounted prices for the EMV workshops are available until 15 March 2021. Click here to register.
