Bittele Electronics, a leading provider of PCB assembly specializing in prototype and low-to mid-volume electronics manufacturing, has announced that its Markham, Ontario-based assembly house has qualified for the ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Bittele collaborated with SGS who audited and examined Bittlele's quality management system to ensure it complied with ISO 9001:2015 standards. SGS's quality audit consisted of a process review, including quality procedure development and recommendations for quality system improvements.
To achieve the ISO 9001:2015 certification, Bittele’s quality management department decided on quality benchmarks and wrote corrective and preventative action plans. Every employee was trained on the new or updated procedures. Designated employees were tasked to review and rewrite quality processes. Lastly, an overall auditing procedure was implemented to achieve the certification.
According to Bittele CEO Ben Yang, this certification is the realization of Bittele's core values and illustrates the significance of the collaborative, successful relationships the company has built with its clients and suppliers.
