The Unit-i1 from Sasinno is an Inline Selective Soldering Machine that can operate on PCBs of size 350 x 450 mm, with an optimal PCB weight of 5 kg. It includes a drop jet fluxer and bottom IR preheating, along with one solder pot featuring a wave tunnel. The PCB is transported via a conveyor, with the conveyor table capable of movement in the X/Y axes, while the solder pot/fluxer moves in the Z-axis. It incorporates a 3-axis full servo drive system with ball screw movement for precise control. Additionally, it comes standard with wave height calibration and real-time soldering process monitoring. Optional features include a built-in AOI inspection function for enhanced quality control.
The Unit-i1 has a solder pot capacity of 15 kg that can be heated up to 350°C. Additionally, the flux volume required for the process is 1 litre, which is dispensed using a 3 to 12 mm nozzle. A top and bottom clearance of 100 mm and 30 mm, respectively, allows the spray nozzle to move easily. The air pressure required to operate is between 3 and 5 bar, which is consumed at a rate of 300 m³/hour. The N2 gas used to heat the solder is consumed at a rate of 1.5 m³/hour, and the required purity of N2 should be 0.9999. It is available in an enclosure that measures 1318 x 1600 x 1246 mm and requires a 3-phase AC supply.
