The ii-A4 from Europlacer is a Pick and Place Machine for components from 01005 to 13 x 13 mm. It uses four of advanced Pulsar Heads and offers high speed manufacturing of up to 104,000cph. This machine features a new patented conveyor system which eliminates mechanical board stops. Instead, it can stop the board at any position under software control and automatically optimises head travel paths during pick and place cycles and delivers another incremental step in placement performance.Intelligent placement routines that include fully-optimised pick-to-place head trajectories and patented automatic board stop positioning ensures fast placement speeds while maintaining accuracy.

The ii-A4 has extruded y-axis gantries which trim 30% off the mass of their cast counterparts. The gantries aredriven in the x-axis at both ends simultaneously, usingsynchronized linear motors with precision encoders thattotal control over mechanical deflection risks under high-speed motion and 2g acceleration movements. It has an on-machine inventory capacity of 264 x 8mm reels plus anoptional automatic 30-tray sequencer.
