Camalot 5000

The Camalot 5000 from PPM is a high-speed Adhesive or Solder Paste Dispenser for applications involving large boards or multi-up panels. It has a dispensing area of 450 x 450 mm and the dispenser nozzle moves at a speed of about 250mm/s or 10 IPS. The dispensing of the equipment is of standard time/pressure method with a dispensing rate of 25000 dots per hour, ensuring a fast and efficient assembly process. It uses a 25 microns camera that produces high resolution images that make it easy for dispensing adhesives accurately.

The Camalot 5000 utilizes rotary positive displacement pump technology to dependable high-speed dispensing, enhanced mechanical design and lead screw drives on all three axes. It has larger and faster servo motors for high-speed applications, linear bearing slides for smooth point-to-point movement and a new servo control system board for greater accuracy and throughput.
