The iCoat-3 from Anda Automation is a Conformal Coating Machine that uses two valves for selective conformal coating. It can accommodate Printed Circuit Boards with sizes up to 450 x 450 x 100 mm, and the maximum height of components can be ± 90 mm. The nozzle dispenses material at a speed of 800 mm/s using an air source of 0.4 MPa with an exhaust requirement of 15 m³/min. The iCoat-3 has a conveyor height between 900 ± 20 mm, which moves at a speed between 0.5 – 5 m/min. Additionally, the average width between 50 mm to 450 mm, supported by an edge clearance of 5 mm.
The iCoat-3 is designed for automating coating processes in both high-volume and high mix low volume (HMLV) settings. This machine caters to panelized or palletized PCBAs and large area coating applications. With three axes of movement (X, Y, Z), it supports up to four selective conformal coating valves in various configurations. Standard features include servo motor-driven gantry axes, stainless steel interior, adjustable computer arm, and programmable valve cleaning, among others. Optional features like valve and fluid heating, dispensing needle calibration sensor, and CCD vision programming camera enhance its capabilities further, making the iCoat-3 Series a versatile and efficient solution for selective conformal coating needs.
The iCoat-3 is available in an enclosure that measures 900 x 1300 x 1675 mm and requires an AC supply.
