W : Trace Width
T : Trace Thickness
L: Trace Thickness
H: Separation between traces
μr : Relative Permiability
μo : Relative permitivitty = 4π x 10-7 WbA-1m-1
Broadside traces are traces on adjacent planes and have equal trace width length and thickness. In industry, we can find that some differential pairs are routed this way for strong coupling, but the actual return for the signal is on a power plane. This routing technique is done to ensure strong coupling.
